Hi, my name is Gitty Sugarman. I'm a relationship coach. I have always had a fascination with the marital relationship and how it works. As a child I would watch couples around me and how they interacted with one another. That fascination has not left me yet. I continue to learn whatever I can to help me understand deeper and deeper the complex dynamics of the marital relationship.
When your marriage is great everything in life feel’s rose tinted, when your relationship is not doing too well, it’s hard to see the good in your life.
When I was newly married, I was determined to put everything into my marriage to make it work, but I did not feel confident in my skills to create a great marriage. So when I was given the opportunity to meet with the Skverer Rebbe, I grabbed it and asked him “how do I know how to be a good wife?” He told me “Every woman has been granted the special knowledge from Hashem to understand exactly what her husband needs” (I don’t remember his exact words). Over the years I have learned a lot about marriage, but this was the single most important piece of advice I have ever received. There was no one in the world who was better equipped than me to be a good wife for my husband.
Over the years I developed a yearning to help as many married women as possible, discover and uncover the joy and connection available in their unique marriage. I believe that every marriage is unique and requires a tailored approach. Coaching is a powerful modality for moving forward in life. I use this to help women awaken their aspirations, over come bumps and move forward in discovering the beauty in their unique marriage.
